The IICRA participated in Salalah Annual Conference regarding arbitration system in GCC Countries last 31 July to 2 August 2018 with the invitation of the G.C.C Commercial Arbitration Centre and in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Oman Dhofar Governorate Branch. This was held at Crowne Plaza Hotel, Salalah, Oman and attended by 120 participants composed of numerous professors, engineers, experts, arbitrators and lawyers.

The conference is about highlighting one of the specialized subjects under arbitration system in the GCC countries. The CEO Mr. Rami Sulaiman of IICRA graciously presented and discussed the topic regarding “The FIDIC Contract under Sharia’a Perspective” to the participants of the significant conference. Since IICRA is one of the most important infrastructure institutions of the Islamic Industry internationally, Mr. Sulaiman believes that this topic will help the participants who are in the field of Islamic Industry in incorporating the principles of Sharia’a Law with the arrangements of contracts and agreements as well as the dispute resolutions.

Finally, the G.C.C. Commercial Arbitration Centre appreciated and acknowledged the participation of Mr. Rami Sulaiman for an outstanding presentation during the conference. The positive responses about the presentation gained and became an added value to the Conference and to the institution.
