In light of the accelerating developments at the local, regional, and international levels, and the accompanying economic challenges, whose impact may rise to the level of exceptional circumstances or even force majeure that may hinder the performance of contractual obligations or render them impossible, such as the sharp increase in shipping costs, the rising prices of raw materials, and similar developments, IICRA, in cooperation with the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI)* and with the participation of a distinguished panel of speakers, is organizing a specialized seminar in English entitled “The Impact of Exceptional Circumstances on Contractual Obligations”, to be held on Tuesday, 08 Muharram 1447 AH, corresponding to 23 June 2026, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM (Dubai Time, United Arab Emirates), via IICRA’s e-platform, at no cost to participants.
