The International Islamic Centre for Reconciliation and Arbitration (IICRA) recently concluded the fifteenth edition of its training program, entitled “Certified Islamic Arbitrator and Expert (CIAE) Training Program held virtually from 10-14 July 2024, corresponding to 04-08 Muharram 1446 AH.

The session was inaugurated by H.E. Dr. Rami Sulaiman, the Secretary General of IICRA, who warmly welcomed the participants. The program was attended by 21 professionals interested in Islamic finance and arbitration from various countries, including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Sudan, the UAE, Jordan, Palestine, Germany, and Yemen. Notably, member institutions such as the Jordan Islamic Bank and the Islamic Insurance Company also participated through their professional teams.

The academic material was presented, and discussions were moderated by a distinguished group of speakers and lecturers. Participants praised the high level of the training program, its methodology, and the topics covered, emphasizing its significant role in enhancing their academic and professional skills. The trainees highlighted the importance of the CIAE Certificate in advancing their knowledge and practical expertise in Islamic economics.

IICRA is pleased to announce the upcoming editions of the CIAE training program:
• The sixteenth edition will be held remotely in Arabic in late October 2024.
• The seventeenth edition will be held virtually in English in November 2024.
