Within the framework of strengthening bonds of professional co-operation among IICRA and its local, regional and International partners with the aim of disseminating the culture of Arbitration, especially the institutional one to better serve the Islamic Economy, IICRA received dated 18th of February 2020, at its headquarter, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) the Chairman of Al-Salam arbitration Center, His Excellency Mr. Isam Aldeen Abdelgadir. IICRA has welcomed its distinguished guest, His Excellency, and the parties have discussed the ways of benefiting from IICRA services in fostering the economy in the Republic of Sudan, which embraced the comprehensive Islamic economy for several years.
Accordingly, the two sides during the meeting have signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) framing the means of collaborating and meeting the desired common goals, whereas His Excellency Mr. Rami Suleiman in his capacity as the Chief Executive Officer has stressed that IICRA shall continue its plans to consolidate the cooperation with actors in an endeavor to spread the culture of Islamic Arbitration and IICRA’s role as one of the most important infrastructure institutions for the Islamic financial industry and its legal arm. He also appreciated the anticipated role of Al-Salam Arbitration Centre in supporting IICRA’s objectives and milestone.
Likewise, the both parties have also discussed the means of joint cooperation in order to design and offer the training courses such as Certified Islamic Arbitrator and Expert (CIAE) Training Program that IICRA within the framework of its plans conduct in order to make the todays’ generation of competent Arbitrators more qualified for settling all kinds of financial disputes with compliance of Islamic Shari’ah Provisions. Hence, the first edition of Certified Islamic Arbitrator & Expert (CIAE) Training Program scheduled to be launched in Sudan after the holy month of Ramadan, God willing.
